Sunday, September 15, 2019: Final Plans

This coming Wendesday (September 18), I fly to Bucharest to begin our short visit to Romania. I will meet Maria at the airport, as she will be flying in from Budapest and arriving shortly before I do.

We will catch a cab and go to the Airbnb we will be sharing to explore Bucharest, staying the nights of the 19th, 20th and 21st. It is a two bedroom flat near the Old Town. The address is: Strada Matei Millo 12 6th floor, Ap no 26., București, Municipiul București 030167, Romania.

We will check out a car at the airport the morning of September 22 and head north toward Brasov. There we will check into another Airbnb for the nights of September 22 and 23. It is also a two bedroom flat. The address is: Strada Ioan Barac 7, Brașov, Județul Brașov, Romania.

While we intend to enjoy the countryside, we will also stop at the Bran Castle (Bran Castle), of Dracula fame. It is only about 17 miles southeast of Brasov.

Checking out on the 24th. We will wind our way back to Bucharest via the scenic route. In Bucharest, we will check into the Epoque Hotel (Epoque Hotel), where we have a two bedroom suite, for the final night before departing Romania on the 25th.

On September 25, Maria flies to Houston and I fly to Brussels where I will meet son Stephen to begin our WWI Ambrose tour.
